The treatment involves injections of a natural purified protein that relaxes the muscles which cause the dynamic wrinkles. The treatment is safe and has been used for over 15 years. It has also been used for a variety of other therapeutic indications such as Cerebral Palsy in children (for muscle spasticity) and movement disorders (head, neck, shoulder, face).

Treatment generally takes 10-15 minutes. Discomfort is typically minimal and brief. Full effect of treatment usually occurs after 7 days, and the effects can last up to 4 months.

The treatment does not cause more wrinkles to form and if no further treatment is received, the wrinkle will gradually return to their ‘pre-treatment’ levels.
